This pattern has been named Dragon Tales because when I first designed it, it looked like dragon scales. I started singing the theme song of the PBS show Dragon Tales in my head. Ok, maybe I sang it out loud. My youngest watched it when she was little, and I admit - I enjoyed it too!

It can be made in any 2 color combo. I liked making it in two colors of the same family, with the darker shade being the underlying color. It really gives it that dragon scale appearance!

This has a kinda tricky stitch - back posting in the tops of stitches. I do include photos for this.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials:
Worsted/Aran weight - I used Red Heart With Love,
I Love Ths Yarn, and Crafter’s Secret
I hook, or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge: 4 dc sts, 2 dc rows = 1”
