Dragon Whelp Amigurumi

For some reason dragons have always been my favourite fantasy creatures… crochet gave me the possibility to have my own little herd of them! I’ve crocheted many different dragons in the years, but what you have in front of you is my first idea… the pattern is called “whelp” because of both finished size and “age” . I really enjoyed creating all those spikes and the bat-wings! I hope you’ll have as much fun as I did ^_^
Materials:
- sports/DK/worsted weight yarn in three or more colors of your choice
- size E crochet hook (or adjust your hook size according to the yarn you’re using)
- fiberfill
- 9mm animal eyes (OR black yarn)
- 2 pipe-cleaners
- (optional) felt Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project. Work tightly so the fiberfill does not show through the stitches
Doll is roughly 5” tall and 6” long.
Pattern is suitable for an intermediate-beginner, but feel free to contact me for any further explanation! ^_^
