Dragon Wings Shawl
Dragons are the coolest fantasy creatures out there so a shawl that looks like dragon-wings was one of my dream projects for a long time.
Now, you can make a pair for yourself, or any dragon lover in your life!
This project feels really fast for a shawl. Because you work side to side, with a small number of stitches not top to bottom like most shawls. The shape is made with short rows, but don’t worry, the eyelets are decorative so there is no need to wrap & turn!
This pattern is extremely customizable!
You can make these wings any size simply by changing the cast on number. The pattern is written a bit like a recipe to accommodate any number of stitches. There is even a section in the back to help you figure out exactly how many stitches to cast on if you want the shawl to be exactly the right size.
This was the first pattern I wrote, even though I am only just now getting it added to Ravelry. It is still one of my favorites. As always, if you have any questions, I am happy to help.
