Crochet pattern for a Dragonfly Tapestry/Blanket. This pattern comes with both a graph and written directions.

You will need 6 skeins of Blue yarn (A), 2 skeins of black yarn (B), 2 skeins of cream yarn (C), 1 skein of yellow yarn (D) and 1 skein of green yarn (E) to complete this project.

I recommend carrying the Blue (A), Black (B) and White (C) through the entire pattern to keep it even. Alternatively you can carry ABC&D through the entire pattern. Or you can also only carry A&B through the entire pattern. Any yarn you don’t carry through the entire pattern I would only use in the section needed.

This pattern is 150 stitches wide by 126 rows tall.

The pattern should come to about 4’ wide when crocheted with a medium weight yarn and a J sized hook. This pattern can be repeated and sewn together or it can be combined with other patterns that are 150 stitches wide. ---Most of my patterns are 150 stitches wide--- You can also add a border to increase the size of the blanket.

It is all single stitch crochet. In order to make this blanket you will need to know how to carry yarn (there are great youtube videos that can teach you how to do the Tapestry Crochet Technique. I highly recommend trying a small simple pattern to practice carrying yarn before attempting a larger project. Carrying yarn gets more difficult as you add more colors.
