Dragonfly Dreaming was born out of the difficulties encountered by so many across the world this year, 2020. People were frightened, became anxious, depressed, lost jobs, were separated from loved ones, even the simplest touch was frowned upon.

We need change, and with planets moving into alignment this December, folk say there will be change as we enter a new age.
The dragonfly is symbolic of change, transformation and purity, it is air and ideas.

A new idea for me was to begin designing and writing my own knitting patterns, after knitting for decades. I always adapted patterns to suit myself. My question to myself was why not design a garment symbolic of this time, and Dragonfly Dreaming was born. I hope you enjoy the creation of this top, and love wearing or gifting it when completed. This top is light weight, knitted in the round with small cap sleeves knitted with the body. It has lace at the bottom of the body, and a neckline that matches the very base part of the lace.
Bust sizes 39” 41” & 43” (99, 104 & 109cm)
Knitted with ChiaoGoo interchangable needles in sizes 4mm and 3.75mm.
