This shawl is inspired by a macro photograph of a dragonfly wing.
The shawl is entirely knit in garter stitch, divided into colour blocks shaped by short rows. Beginning quite small, the stitchcount of the rows gradually grows as the work progresses.

Two versions are shown: Silk mohair and Merino wool (Nordic mini), both accented with glittery Brillino yarn.

Only K stitches and only 1 end to weave in when finished!

Fyrirmynd þessa sjals er fengin af makró-ljósmynd af væng drekaflugu.
Sjalið er allt prjónað með garðaprjóni, skipt upp í litakafla sem mótaðir eru með stuttum umferðum. Framan af eru umferðirnar stuttar en þær lengjast jafnt og þétt eftir því sem fram vindur.

Bara slétt prjón og einungis 1 endi sem þarf að ganga frá í lokin!
