This Brioche scarf is designed to look like flames spreading up the center of the scarf. The slipped edges make for a smooth transition and even finish. It knits up very quickly and if using very contrasted colors is sure to make your colors pop with definition in an elegant design.

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate - must be familiar with knitting brioche

Average adult

MATERIALS:

Yarn- Worsted (weight 4). Pattern is written for 2 colors. Ensure that the colors are highly contrasted for best results. This will use the entire 2 skeins of yarn (must be at least 181 yards each color). You may purchase extra yarn and make the scarf longer if you desire and just knit until the scarf is your desired length.

Needles- US 8 (5.0mm)

Other Supplies- Scissors, tapestry needle

STITCH KNOWLEDGE NEEDED

Knit, Purl, Slip (purls wise and knit wise), sl1yo, Brk, Bro, this contains a left and right leaning decrease stitch (BrLsl, and BrRsl) which is explained in pattern (no tutorial), as well as an increase stitch (brkyobrkyobrk) which is also explained in pattern (no tutorial).
