The Legend of Sant Jordi, my favourite, is the inspiration point for this shawl. It says that when the prince stuck his sword in the dragon to save the princess from its clutches, the blood of the animal sprouted wonderful red roses. This shawl aims to remember that even an evil being can have something beautiful inside.

Dragons And Roses is a symmetrical top-down triangular shawl with written and charted instructions. It combines a delicate texture with an interesting lace and the result is a very elegant and special shawl, with a spectacular drape. The texture is very easy to memorize so it’s the ideal knitting work to bring with you everywhere and the lace section is perfect for beginner adventurous knitters.

The lace sections represent the open wings of a dragon, the textured sections, the wonderful roses and the color, mixture of gray and pink, is for me the hope in love. It is a call to help each other to bring out those wonderful things that we all carry inside. Let us stop prejudice and join together to get a better world and, why not, full of roses.

One size. Finished measurements (aprox.): 73,23” (186cm) long and 32,28” (82cm) wide (after blocking).

MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of SEDA40 by Feliz y Punto (60% Merino, 40% Silk; 465yds 425m / 100g). Approx. 930yds (850m) of fingering weight yarn. The sample was made using colorway ALPINE.
Needles: US6/4mm (or the needle size you need to obtain gauge) and US7/4,5mm (or one size more than the needle you used to knit the shawl) circular recommended.
Other: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

La Leyenda de Sant Jordi, mi favorita, es el punto de inspiración para el chal Dragons And Roses. En ella se cuenta que cuando el príncipe clavó su espada en el dragón para salvar a la princesa de sus garras, de la sangre del animal brotaron unas maravillosas rosas rojas.
Este chal pretende recordar que hasta un ser malvado puede tener algo bello en el interior.
Dragons And Roses es un chal triangular simétrico que se teje de arriba abajo y cuenta con instrucciones escritas y por gráfico. Combina una delicada textura con un calado muy interesante, lo que lo convierte en un chal muy elegante y especial con una caída espectacular.
La textura es fácil de memorizar por lo que es el proyecto ideal para llevar a cualquier lugar y la sección de calado es perfecta para tejedoras principiantes aventureras.
Las secciones del calado representan las alas abiertas de un dragón, las secciones con textura las maravillosas rosas y el color, mezcla de gris y rosa, es para mí la esperanza en el amor. Es un llamamiento a ayudarnos unos a otros para lograr hacer aflorar esas cosas maravillosas que todos llevamos dentro. Dejémonos de prejuicios y unamos para conseguir un mundo mejor y, por qué no, lleno de rosas.

MATERIALES:
Lana: 2 madejas de SEDA40 de Feliz y Punto (60% Merino, 40% Seda; 425m/100g). O entre 800m y 850m de otra lana de grosor fingering o light fingering. El sampler está tejido con el color ALPINE,
Agujas: se recomiendan agujas circulares con 80cm de cable y de 4mm (o el tamaño necesario para obtener la tensión) y 4,5mm (o medio número más que el usado para tejer el chal).
Otros: 4 marcadores, aguja lanera, bases para bloquear y alfileres.
