I wanted to knit a pair of socks, but couldn’t get into any of the patterns I tried. So I looked through some stitch dictionaries for inspiration. When I saw the Seersucker Stitch, I was reminded of dragon scales and thought that it would look great on a sock.

These are just some simple, fun toe-up socks with a scaly textured diamond motif.

I have both written directions and charts available for the Seersucker texture.

Currently only available in one size, but I’m sure someone experienced with socks wouldn’t have much issue sizing up or down - the primary motif is a 4-stitch repeat.

Testing

This pattern has not been tested. I wrote the pattern down as I was knitting the socks for myself. If you find any errors, please send me an email - jenniferfaultier@gmail.com
