Though I am categorizing this knit as a shawl, it is so much more. I designed Dragonstone as a piece that can be worn around the neck as a shawl, stole, scarf, cowl (with the help of a shawl pin), or as anything your heart can dream up. Don’t be fooled by its triangular shape! Its modular design creates a unique arrow-head shape when laid flat. This allows the wearer to style as a shawl that would not fall off the shoulders or even, as a top.

Dragonstone begins with a brioche diamond shaped panel. Then, stitches are picked up for the wings, which are knitted individually. All of the brioche motifs are beginner friendly and easy to remember. Also, if you do need extra help, there are links to video demonstrations in the pattern.
