This project works up very quickly and is perfect for last minute gifting!

The Dragontail Wave Bandana is designed to work with pretty much any yarn… just use a hook size a couple or even several sizes larger than recommended to create the lacy, stretchy fabric.

The smaller the hook and yarn used the more pattern repeats required to achieve the length (twice around the neck).

Eg: I used a 5mm hook with Scheepjes Stonewashed (blue denim version in images), and I used a 6mm hook with Malabrigo Rios; I left off 1 section repeat for this version as it was already the correct length (noted in pattern). I had enough Malbrigo Rios left from the skein to also make the Dragon lace Gauntlets :)

You can make tassels and attach to tassel rings on either end - or add buttons to fasten - or add any other bling you like!
