Dragonwise is a wide triangular shawl, knit from the top down, with a deep, dragon scale inspired lace border. Add beads (or don’t) for the perfect amount of sparkle..!

The size can easily be customized by making the stockinette section smaller or larger.

Sample shawl 575m/629 yards The Knitting Goddess 4ply Alpaca, Silk & Cashmere (fingering/4ply weight, 70% alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere), wingspan 160cm/63” and 65cm/26” deep at centre spine after blocking.

Sample shawl 563m/616 yards Malabrigo Yarn Sock (fingering/4ply weight, 100% merino), wingspan 175cm/69” and 65cm/26” deep after blocking.

Smaller sample shawl 375m/411 yards The Knitting Goddess SparkLynne 4ply (fingering/4ply weight, 75% merino, 20% nylon, 5% metallic), wingspan 145cm/57” and 53cm/21” deep after blocking.

This shawl would look great in lace weight yarn as well.

Beads (optional): 145 size 6/0 TOHO seed beads.

Storleken kan lätt anpassas genom att den slätstickade mittendelen görs mindre eller större.
