Pairing a modification of a favorite vintage lace pattern—Print of the Wave—with a pretty dot knit textured design, the patterning mimics kelp strands on a sandy beach.

The Drake’s Beach shawl is worked flat as a wedge from side to side with a lace edging along one bottom edge. An optional knitted-on lace bind off is included.
