I really enjoy Neil Sandman’s great Sandman epic, and have always been intrigued by Oneiros’ (that is, Dream’s) realm, where all human imaginings are represented. This scarf is a small homage to imagination itself. And to Dream, despite him being rather a grumpy sort of character.

The pattern is suitable for an ambitious newcomer to doubleknitting.

I have knitted the pattern in Nordlys because I really like the varigeated yarns, but this pattern would work well in any fingering-weight yarn.
