Lentävä Lapanen Genuine Soft Donegal (100 % merino, 190 m / 50 g) (discontinued, Lang Yarns Donegal Merino would be an exact substitute) or other fingering weight yarn.

C1: 154-176 yards / 140-160 meters.
C2: 58-66 yards / 53-60 meters.
C3: 38-44 yards / 35-40 meters.

Needle:
3,5 mm (US 4) - 16”/40 cm circular needle (or longer for magic loop). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

Gauge:
24 sts x 40 rnds = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in colourwork worked in the round (after blocking).
