The Suri Dream is discontinued, but any fluffy, mohair-like yarn that is thicker than laceweight should work fine. The pattern includes a few suggestions obtained from looking around Ravelry.

Gauge is not very important for this pattern.

This pattern can be worked with approximately half a ball of each color of yarn.
