This pattern features three styles: A Super Mobeius Cowl (or wrap), a Chunky Mobeius Cowl, or an Infinity Scarf. They are all designed to be knit using silk or silk blend yarn -- or other yarn that gives a nice drape and sheen.

We recommend Lucky Violet Color Co Melinda or Melinda DK yarn … and for something extra special, consider pairing a Lucky Violet Color Co “halo” yarn with either weight of Melinda for an extra dreamy finished product that feels lighter than air.

Yardage Requirements vary depending on the style you choose to knit:

Super Mobeius Cowl: 1760 yards Lucky Violet “Melinda” yarn base (50/50 silk and SW Merino) (sock/fingering weight) OR 880 Melinda DK weight held together with 880 yards Lucky Violet Color Co Freya or Harper “halo” lace weights.

Chunky Mobeius Cowl: Approximately 880 yards Melinda (sock weight) OR 440 yards Melinda DK weight held together with 440 yards Freya or Harper (lace weights)
