Dream Weaving
Dream Weaving is a subtle but sophisticated pattern which incorporates weaving in a contrast colour to a garter stitch pattern in the round for a unique effect.
(Note: to achieve garter stitch in the round, you have to purl every other row.)
The pattern is easy to follow, but requires knowledge of working in the round.
Weaving in a contrast colour is simply done and explained in the pattern.
If you prefer to knit in the round using magic loop (like me!) there is a comprehensive explanation of how to do this with the pattern. I have also included a simple explanation of how to weave in the contrast colour.
As this pattern incorporates weaving, there is little stretch in the final fabric so knitting a tension/gauge swatch is very important. The final product will be a very tight fit otherwise! I have included instructions for sizes from 19 to 23 cm around the widest part of the hand (with thumb tucked in).
