Dreamcatcher Lap Blanket
This Dreamcatcher lap blanket is designed as a beginner/ easy project. Although the pattern is so dynamic overall, the units are basic garter stitch squares. In fact, it was used for a beginning class with great results.
A lap blanket takes only 16 squares. The size is only limited to how many units you care to add.
This blanket used less than two 237 yard skeins of the main color, and less than one 237 yard skein of the other design colors.
The sample was made as a lap blanket for a hospice facility. It required 100% Acrylic content to be washable and non-irritating.
It would be lovely in a premium wool or superwash wool.
I used size 8 needles with this sport weight yarn to get a soft and cushy fabric.
