Materials
1. US Size 0 (2mm) set of 5 dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method)
2. Light fingering weight yarn 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need about 325 y/70 g total: Background color – 166 y / 36 g, Contrast color – 159 y / 34 g

Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 68 stitches in the hand part. With recommended yarn, needles, and gauge the mittens should fit a 7.5- 8” circumference hand. To make larger size mittens use larger needles or thicker yarn.
2. Options: There are 2 options to choose from: (1) Trees and (2) Snowflake. There is also an option to choose how you want the image to present itself: (1) the wearer sees the full image; (2) the image is put together when the mittens are presented to others. More notes on that in the instructions and charts.
3. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
4. Construction: The mittens have an afterthought thumb construction.
