I wanted to create a simple, wearable, slightly textured sock, perfect for those Birkenstock wearing summer days, and I looked to Mr. Willy Wonka, the candy man and dreamer of dreams, for inspiration.

My Dreamers of Dreams sock uses a modified, offset herringbone stitch to create an argyle pattern up the foot. This pattern is fun, easy to knit and gives a textured detail when knit with both variegated and semi solid yarns.

Pattern has been designed as an ankle sock, but can be easily modified for a full length sock if preferred.
