Snuggle down warmly every bedtime with this sweet cottage hot water bottle cover. This cottage uses a knitted rib pattern for the thatched roof. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cover is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; One 100g/250m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and a button to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - To fit a 2 litre hot water bottle, for which the standard measurements are 20cm wide x 28cm tall, excluding the neck and stopper.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases, and seaming to finish.
