Introducing the Dreaming of Flowers square, so named because it literally came to me in a dream. This square is a great introduction to mandala-style crochet. You can make it with any yarn (it’s a great scrap buster) and any hook size. Use cotton to make hot pads, or make several squares and join them to make a blanket.*

This pattern is written in US terms and is what I would consider intermediate level. If you have done mandalas before, it should be pretty easy. If not, you may find it challenging. But, no worries! I tried to include as much information as possible to help those who are unfamiliar with this kind of pattern, so if you take it slow and read the directions, you should do fine.
