“Dreaming of Iceland “ is naturally inspired by the Saga island far out in the Atlantic ocean.
The design was made in autumn 2011, as a contribution to Allers and Rauma Ullvarefabrikk big design competition . Result was a 7th place, among about 80 submissions.

For those who are not so fond of strong colours, there are unlimited possibilities for color options that can be just as beautiful to use on this design. And maybe you want to use only one or two colours.

I hope you will appreciate and enjoy “ dreaming of Iceland” - and not least be inspired yourself to create a delicious winter set!

Yarn: For example Hillesvåg Ask (2-ply thin wool yarn) or yarns about 315 m pr. 100 g, use two threads together!
250 g farge color 6061 dark gray
50 g of each color :
6070 + 6111 for “lava-flows”
6084 + 6034 for “blue lagoon”
