Dreaming of Sunshine
I created the Dreaming of Collection of baby blankets, inspired by a Meteorologist’s Dream. Seven baby blankets: one baby blanket created for each individual weather pattern that was included in the original blanket.
This baby blanket was inspired by the sunset and sunrays section of a Meteorologist’s Dream. It features a simple spiral sun with rays shining off into the distance. This is a blanket of hope and serenity.
This blanket is 120stitches x 110 rows, it features a single pattern colour and six background colours. The final size using 4mm hook is approximately 76cm (30in) x 80cm (32in)
Difficulty – Intermediate
Techniques used:
• UK terms – BLDC – Back loop double crochet,
• US terms - BLSC – Back loop single crochet,
• Slip Stitches
