You require two colors of yarn. For example, black and white

Terminology: all crochet terms used are U.S.

Technique: Overlay Mosaic and Interlocking Filet crochet. Pattern is worked in the round to give two sides of the pillowcase at once (tubular crocheting row by row).

Yarn weight: Sport. Ball weight: 50 g, yarn length:130 m (142.17 yds).

Gauge: 10 stitches in 5cm (2”) by 5 rows in 5cm (2”) in dc stitch pattern.
Using a different gauge won’t affect the design, but it will change the finish size and the amount of yarn needed.

Hook 3.25 – 3.5 mm. Hook size needed to match the gauge.

For one Pillowcase Yardage approx. 650 meters for black yarn and 700 m for white yarn, which is a total approx. 1350 meters of yarn (710 yards for black and 765 yards for white, a total of 1475 yards of yarn)

Size: 45-50 by 45-50 cm.
