Dresden Plate Square
This pattern is to make one square that measures approximately 10.25” square once blocked.
Though the pattern calls for 4 colors to use for the center wedges, you can use any number of colors, as long as you personally keep track.
This is a great project for using up various small balls of yarn. If you want to use thinner yarn (such as sock), go down a few hook sizes. If you want to use chunkier yarn, go up a few hook sizes. Just know that this will affect the final size of the square.
Once you’ve finished the square, it is up to you how you’d like to use it! Some suggestions are as one side of a bag, as a block for a blanket, or as one side of a pillowcase! These instructions show you how to only make the square.
