This pattern is for the DRESS ONLY. The pattern for the DOLL IS NOT INCLUDED. The doll pattern is available in Isabelle Kessedjian’s book “My Crochet Doll”.

My own crochet doll is 25 cm / 10” high. The dress will fit other 10” dolls wtih similar proportions (large head).

I use US crochet terms.

I used cotton thread (DMC Petra n°3) and a 2 mm hook.
The gauge is as follows.
Row1 : ch13; in back loops only, 2 sc in 2nd chain from hook, skip next chain, 2 sc in next chain, skip next chain, repeat until end (12 sc).
Row 2 : in back loops only, 2 sc in first sc, skip next sc, continue until end (12 sc).
Row 3 : in both loops, 2 sc in first sc, skip next sc, continue until end (12 sc).
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have 21 rows in total. The piece should measure 7.5 cm x 3.5 cm approximately (3” x 1 3/8”).

You will need one ball of each of the 3 colors, as well as some narrow silk ribbon and 2 small buttons.
