This pattern is worked with dk yarn. I used stash yarn; Red Heart Ann Gedes and Loops & Threads Snuggly Wuggly. You will need size 3 and size 5 straight needles. This pattern is modified from another of my patterns and sized for Baby Alive®.

The dress is knitted from the bottom up. The front, back, and sleeves are worked separately, and then joined into one piece to form the yoke and neck. The dress fastens on the diagonal in the back, with either snaps, velcro, or an optional button hole. The leggings are knit in two pieces, and then joined into one at the inseam. The waistband is done in ribbing, which provides enough ‘stretch’ to hold them up without elastic. The dress, leggings, and headband are worked in a combination of stockinette and basket weave stitch, with garter stitch borders.
