This pattern is worked with dk yarn. I used stash yarn; Red Heart Ann Gedes & Bernat Baby. You will need size 3 and size 5 straight needles, and a size 4 or 5 (D or E) crochet hook. . This pattern is designed for Baby Alive®.

The dress is knitted from the bottom up, expanded to add sleeves, decreased back to the skirt size, and finished by working the back skirt. Straps are crocheted on the shoulders to fasten the dress. The leggings are knit in two pieces, and then joined into one at the inseam. The waistband is done in ribbing, which provides enough ‘stretch’ to hold them up without elastic. The dress, leggings, and headband are worked in a combination of stockinette and garter stitch, with garter stitch borders on the leggings and the skirt. I crocheted a long tie to use for a headband.
