Dressup Doll Levi
Dressup Doll Levi is made as a friend to Dressup Dolls Elsa, Malaika, Malu and Killian and measures about 26,5 cm’s when I crochet him with a 2.0mm hook. When you go up a hooksize, he might be bigger, but proportions remain intact. This means gauge isn’t important.
The pattern for Levi is currently available in Dutch and US English
Amigurumi doll Levi is a crocheted doll with a removable t-shirt, shorts and shoes. He is made seamless, so no seaming parts afterwards. He can switch clothing with his friend Killian and fits all the unicorn and dino onesie outfits made for Elsa and Killian aswell. The name Levi is Hebrew and means Joining.
Yarn:
- Scheepjes Softfun #2623 Skin color
- Scheepjes Stonewashed #802 Smokey Quartz
- Scheepjes Stonewashed #803 Black Onyx
- Scheepjes Riverwashed #941 Colorado
Hook:
This doll is crocheted with a 2.0mm hook and the suggested yarn above. It’s important to crochet tight enough, since you don’t want the fibrefill to show. Also don’t crochet to tightly it’ll be a strain on your wrists. If you crochet loosely, please go down a size. If you crochet tightly go up a size. The proportions of this boy stay intact.
Gauge
In single crochet: 15 sc x 15 rows measures 5x5 cm, using Scheepjes Softfun and a 2.0mm hook.
Gauge, however is not important for this pattern. Different hooks and different yarn give you a different size for your doll, but the proportions stay intact.
Notions
Needle for weaving ends, scissors, fibrefill, stitchmarker
