This hat is one size, designed to fit most adult heads. The length of the ribbing can be altered to fit a range of sizes.

I named this pattern Dreysen, the Cornish word for brambles, as the cables intertwine as they grow, just like brambles.

This hat is knitted brim-up with a ribbed cuff which is then folded over itself before starting the cable pattern.

Suggested yarn: West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft Aran. I used 140 metres/ 153 yards of West Yorkshire Spinners the Croft Aran in the colour Copister (796).
