Driada Socks - shorties or mid-calf socks

Socks inspired by the forest and fantasy novels.
Knitted from the toes up, with a fleegle heel and a lace
motif, finished with a folded cuff.

Sizes
S/M/L fits the foot circumference of ca. 19/21/23 cm 7.5/8.25/9”.
Circumference of an unstretched sock is 2.5-3 cm 1-1.2” smaller. Foot and leg length
are adjustable. Remember that the socks will stretch with wear, make them ca. 1.5 cm
0.6” shorter than your foot length.
Materials
• Fingering weight sock yarn (ca. 400 m / 437 y in 100 g). Exact amount depends on
the size and length (50 - 100g).
• 2.25 mm US 1 circular needles, 80 cm 32”ther size to obtain gauge);
optionally 2 mm US 0 needles for the cuff.
• Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge worked in the round, after wet blocking
In stockinette stitch on 2.25 mm US 1 needles: 34 sts x 50 rnds = 10x10 cm 4 x 4”.

Skarpetki inspirowane lasem i powieściami fantasy.
Wykonane od palców z piętą typu fleegle heel,
z ażurowym motywem, zakończone podwijaną plisą.

Rozmiary
S/M/L pasujące na obwód stopy ok. 19/21/23 cm.
Obwód gotowej, nierozciągniętej skarpetki jest niecałe 3 cm mniejszy. Długość stopy
oraz wysokość cholewki można dopasować. Należy pamiętać, że skarpety się
naciągają - wykonaj je ok. 1,5 cm krótsze od długości stopy.
Materiały
• Włóczka skarpetkowa grubości fingering (ok. 400 m w 100 g) - ilość zależy od
rozmiaru i długości (50 - 100 g)
• Druty na żyłce 2,25 lub inny rozmiar potrzebny do uzyskania próbki; opcjonalnie
druty 2,0 do wykonania plisy
• Marker i igła dziewiarska
Próbka robiona w okrążeniach, po blokowaniu
Jersey na drutach 2,25: 34 x 50 okr. (10x10 cm).
