2022 Drifter Scarf

To change the scarf length, chain until you reach your desired scarf length. Take the number of chains you have, subtract 5 and divide the new total by 8. For example if you want a 75 inch long scarf 3 sts per inch X 75 inches = 225. Now check that 225 works with our stitch multiple. 225-5=220, 220/8=27.5 so it isn’t quite right but easy to fix. Take that 27.5 and round up to 28. Now take 28 x 8 = 224 and add back in the + 5. 224+5= 229. You would start with 229 chains for a scarf approximately 75 inches in length.
