Cables, knit and purl stitches twine around this cowl like snow drifting across the landscape. This lovely, unisex warm cowl works perfectly in your favorite sock yarn knitting up quickly for a rewarding knit.
Sizes: 17” x 14” (43.1 cm x 35.6 cm) unstretched after blocking (if you would like to increase the size, add repeats of 12 stitches but this will shorten the overall length)
Suggested Yarn: Shown in Teton Knitting Company Mountain Sock in Oxbow Bend, 437 yards per 100 grams, 100% Superwash Merino
Needles: US Size 5 (3.75mm) 16” (40 cm)or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 7 sts x 8 rows = 1” in pattern after blocking
Notions: Stitch markers, row counter, darning needle.
Skills: Able to read charts, cabling, knitting in the round.
