You will need:

For both versions - one 20” (50 cm) square cushion pad.

For zipped version only - 2 pieces of backing fabric measuring 20.75” (53 cm) x 11” (28 cm), 1 zipper 15” (38 cm long)

For non-sipped version - one piece of backing fabric, 20.75”
(53 cm ) square

** Pattern note - to save having many ends to sew in when the work is finished, the cushion is worked, back and forth, in rows on a circular needle. The yarns not in use are carried up along the sides of the work. If the colour that you want is at the wrong end of your work, go back to the beginning of the row you have just finished, without turning the work and pick up and work the colour that you need. **
