Dripping Diamonds Pelerine or Shawl
A very old classic pattern updated into a new classic look. Dripping Diamonds will make you feel like a million bucks. This pattern is designed so that you can follow the pattern or customize it to your own look. There are three distinct sections to the shawl. Each section can be made as deep as you desire.
The pattern is designed so that you can decide how many panels to make. Each panel is triangular shaped. Choose only 2 panels and go with a basic shape or choose 3 and have what is classically referred to as a Pelerine. You can choose more panels if you like but the pattern is going to focus on just the first 2 shapes. Your customized shawl is worked as one piece.
This is it! Step outside of the box. Be unique! Drip Diamonds!!
Pelerine - A woman’s cape of lace or silk with pointed ends at the center front, popular in the 19th century.
Skill Level - Intermediate
This pattern is designed so you can customize the depth of each of the 3 sections and choose 2 different shapes. It is rated intermediate because you need to make choices.

Shawl: 33 in center back by 72 in wingspan (84cm by 183 cm)
