Dripping with Lace Knitted Shawl.

Make this easy to knit shawl in white for a special event or wedding. I have made one in white, black and another in turquoise to go with my summer dresses.

This is an easy to knit half circle shawl that is constructed with repeats of easy to knit eyelet then a deep hem of vintage Old Shale lace that is accentuated with pressing.

Make this your first lace shawl project. I provide a row by row table that you can mark off as you knit each row of this shawl.

I recommend using wooden or bamboo needles. The yarn doesn’t slip of the needles as easily as it does with plastic or metal.

I am a tight knitter so size 7 (US) needles are recommended but if you are a loose knitter, try size 6.

From tip to tip, the finished shawl measures 40 inches wide and 18 inches deep from neck to bottom edge.

Any lace weight yarn can be used with this pattern.
