Drogon

I designed this in my (seemingly) never ending quest for the perfect slouchy hat. The short row shaping in the ribbing allows you to have a thick band in front without having to fold it over in back and doing only a little increasing before the body gives just the right slouch without making the hat poof out. The pattern stitch was something I decided to throw in so I would have more fun knitting and would have a cool, dragon scaly texture when it was done. A nice hand dyed variegated yarn really makes the texture of this pattern pop though I also knit one for a friend in a solid forest green and it still looked great. Happy knitting and stay crafty!
