Use any yarn and needles to match the yarn (or not, however you want!). Figure out your own guage, and then follow the pattern. This way, you can use anything! The model shown (which was, unfortunately, given away before I got better pics--don’t worry, they’re coming!), is done in worsted weight yarn on size 8 needles. I’d recommend going up a needle size or two to maximize the dropped stitches.
