Droplet Yarn Bowl
This is a yarn bowl that doesn’t break if kids or cats accidentally bump it off the table. :)
It also has a ‘lid’ which helps the yarn to stay in the bowl, so you always know where your yarn is. The string/rope is convenient, as you can easily carry it along where ever you go.
The pattern (US terms) includes:
- helpful images
- guide for felting
- a pattern for a crocheted rope
SKILLS
You are expected to know basic crochet stitches plus how to do stitches in the back/front loop only.
SIZE
Final size can be around 17x25cm (6.7x9.8in). However, size will depend on the shrinkage of your yarn.
YARN
250 gram of super Bulky Felting yarn.
HOOK
8-9mm (US L-M). Gauge while working is not important. A looser (and taller) work tends to shrink more than a tighter and smaller work.
STITCH COUNT - Fun Fact
The bowl pattern is 2,433 stitches.
The pattern for the tiny lock is 84 stitches.
