Droppsten
Droppsten is a three-coloured baby cardigan knit in soft merino wool, perfect for little ones.
Yarn kits will be available at https://www.imaginewool.com/
Droppsten is knit bottom up and in the round. Your start with the body, then knit the two sleeves. After that you knit the pieces together. The front opening is cut open once the cardigan is knit. Sleeve and body length can be adjusted to fit the wearer, but please note that this will affect yarn requirements.
Gauge: 21 stitches and 28 rows / 10 cm in stockinette.
Needles: Cable needles 3,5 and 4, or size needed to obtain gauge. If you struggle to achieve the same gauge in the stranded parts as in the stockinette, try using a slightly larger needle for the stranded parts.
Sizes: 3, (6-9), 12-18 months and (2-3) years, see measurements below.
Other materials: scrap yarn, darning needle, stitch markers, scissors. Sewing machine for the steek. 5, (5), 6, (6) buttons and cotton band to hide the cut open edge.
