It is knitted in the round, on size 8 circulars, and includes instructions for the optional beads. The beauty in this piece is that you can put beads wherever you want! Just on the bottom edge and the neckline, just the neckline, just the bottom edge, throughout the piece, or none at all, and it’s still a classic and timeless staple piece for your wardrobe or anyone you knit this for. I used Fancy Image Yarn (up to 2 skeins depending on size) in DK weight, and size 6 glass beads. There are over 1,000 beads in the turquoise shawl that is pictured, which is a size small. I strand my beads prior to cast on, but beads can be added with a crochet hook as well, or any other method you prefer.
