This pattern was dreamt up for a wonderful woman who has always been an amazingly generous friend. She never accepts anything in return save for the occasional bottle of wine (you can see why I like her) or something knitted to add to her wardrobe.

Someone special like her deserved something special in return, so I created the Drunk Farmer Ploughing stitch (and Granny G who created the name!!).

It’s a simple pattern that looks really effective and creates a lovely texture.
