There is a very sweet boy in our lives who happens to love parks and animals. When we were at the the photo session before our son’s school formal, he joined us with his Nan. After a while he became bored with the people and wanted to wander off to see what else the park had to offer- what else can you expect from a two year old?

What he found were the ducks and he ran everywhere chasing the poor things! He twisted this way and that as he explored the space and left me following in his wake in my formal clothes. So, the cable pattern in Duck! is inspired by the twists and turns he took that day and the name is from his exclamations of excitement as he ran around.

The top-down socks are mirror images of each other, to create a sense of symmetry across the pair.
