Duck Afghan Block
This is a simple written pattern for a square block that can be stitched together for an Afghan, Pillow, Rug, Wall Hanging or any other project you can think of. Since each square is worked up separately (and quickly), you can make your project as small or large as you like.
SIZE: The estimated finished size is 12” x 12” using a 6 mm hook and worsted weight yarn. Hook size and stitch tension will adjust the size of the block. Rows, columns or edging can be added to increase the size of the afghan.
SKILLS: It is helpful to have knowledge of color change, carrying yarn OR tapestry/intarsia crochet. You can find info about these skills online, or contact me; I’d be happy to help you find any information you may need.
