Crochet the perfect duck to cuddle. This soft amigurumi snuggle animal named Achim can’t wait to be cuddled. This baby duck snuggle animal crochet tutorial includes two eye options: Safety eyes and embroidered sleepy eyes. Achim is stuffed medium-firm as usual for regular cuddly animals.

This little guy was named after my late grandfather Joachim „Achim“ (1930-2022) who loved animals and especially birds so much.

Size: varies depending on wool, crochet hook and how tight or loose you crochet. Approx. 35 cm with chenille yarn and 8mm crochet hook.

Materials:
Chenille yarn (also called cuddly wool) | length per 100g: 120 meters | yarn weight: 6 super bulky (Go Handmade Happy Chunky “double”, Hobbii Baby Snuggle Solid, Hobbii Honey Bunny, Himalaya Dolphin Big etc.), 1 ball per color.

Colors:
Feather color (Cream, Natural White, Nude, Soft Sand, Oatmilk).
Beak and feet (mustard yellow, curry, amber, dark yellow, light orange)

For embroidery: 100% mercenized wool (Scheepjes Catona, Schachenmayr Catania etc.) | yarn size 2.5mm - 3.5mm
