Ducky Photo Frame & Piggy Bank
What child’s dresser would be complete without an adorable photo and a bank? Though these are two essentials for a child’s room, I wanted to design a dresser set that would put the FUN in FUNctional. So I designed 2 delightful sets that would make a great gift for a little girl or boy. The snout of the piggy unties to reveal a hidden chamber to save money, perhaps from the Tooth Fairy! And a toothless picture would look adorable in the photo frame proudly displayed by a sweet ducky wearing a matching hat! And if needed, Ducky would make a faithful friend to hug and hear the whole tooth story, since Ducky could also go out to play without the frame. Knit in the round, Ducky sits approx. 8 ½” high without the hat, Piggy stands approx. 5 ½” high, and you could put a 3” picture in the frame. Whichever set you choose, these little dresser friends would delight any young child! You will also need: #4-worsted wt. yarn…~ For DUCKY: 140 yds. (white), 36 yds. (yellow) ~ For HATS: 40 yds. (pink) 21 yds. (blue) & 3 yds. (green)
~ For FRAMES: 42 yds. (pink) 38 yds. (blue) & 4 yds. (green) ~ For PIGS: 110 yds. (pink) 85 yds. (blue) & 25 yds. (green), Size 4 (3.5mm) 32” Circular Knitting Needles or Double Pointed Needles, safety eyes: 10.5mm (Ducky), 9mm (Piggy), removable stitch markers, large-eyed blunt needle, long straight pins, plastic canvas, & polyester fiberfill stuffing.
