Duet Sweater
The Duet Sweater is a cozy, oversized, weekend-worthy sweater. Use bulky yarn or 2 DK yarns held together, this is a quick knit and great stash buster for using up multiple colors of DK and light worsted weight yarns. Featuring a folded neckband and high-low hem, the duet sweater is a cozy addition to your makes.
CONSTRUCTION
—
The Duet Sweater is a top down and seamless construction that bridges the gap between raglan and drop shoulder sweater design. Begin with the shoulders worked flat that gradually increase and are joined at the front to finish the shoulder shaping. The front and back of the upper body are worked flat to make sleeve openings, then joined in the round to work the body. The curved hem is created with short row shaping and finished with a purl seam and 2x2 ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the folded neckband which is sewn down to the inside of the neck. Sleeve stitches are picked up and worked while gradually decreasing, finishing with a purl seam and 2x2 ribbing.
