Dugong? or Manatee? In this pattern you’ll find the instructions to make one or the other…or maybe both!!. Just choose your tail!!

The shaping of the head and body uses an interesting technique, nothing out of this world, just some chains and skipped stitches, that is explained in the pattern.

DIFFICULTY. This pattern is rated intermediate because of the shaping technique, but if you are an advanced beginner you shouldn´t have any trouble to make it.

MATERIALS. You’ll need:

• 50g of yarn (pattern is written using 8ply/DK) for each amigurumi.
• Hook (3.0mm)
• Safety eyes or round buttons (9mm)
• Stuffing material, scissors and yarn needle.

<small>As with other amigurumi you can use any other yarn weight and a hook appropiate for that yarn. You can also adjust the eyes’ size.

SIZE: Using yarn and hook as in the pattern your Dugong, or Manatee will measure approx 7” or 18cm long.

Dugón? o Manatí? En este patrón encontrará las instrucciones para hacer uno u otro … ¡¡o tal vez ambos!!. Sólo necesitas elegir la cola.

Para dar forma a la cabeza y cuerpo se utiliza una técnica interesante, nada fuera de este mundo, sólo algunas cadenas y puntos esquivados, que se explica en el patrón.

DIFICULTAD. Este patrón esta clasificado de dificultad intermedia debido a la técnica para dar forma, pero si eres un principiante avanzado, no deberías tener ningún problema para hacerlo.

MATERIALES. Necesitarás:

• 50 g de estambre (el patrón está escrito utilizando 8ply / DK) para cada amigurumi.
• Gancho (3,0 mm)
• Ojos de seguridad o botones redondos (9mm)
• Material de relleno, tijeras y aguja lanera.

<small> Al igual que con otros amigurumi puedes utilizar cualquier otro grosor de estambre con el gancho apropiado para ese estambre. Tambien puedes ajustar el tamaño de los ojos.

TAMAÑO: Usando el estambre y gancho como en el patrón, tu dugón o manatí medirá aproximadamente 18 cm de largo.
